Kaizen Events

Kaizen events are the most powerful method for delivering tangible improvement in a limited amount of time. Our Kaizen events consistently produce measurable results in 5 days, without the need for capital budgets.

Kaizen events are designed to assess the target area, identify the key issues within the area, design a new process to Lean principles and implement that process within a 5 to 6 day time period. It is common to increase labor efficiency by 25-30% and decrease overall processing time by 25-90% during a Kaizen event.

Kaizen events are conducted using the staff responsible for the area with our experts leading and supporting the Kaizen event. On the first day, the staff is trained in basic Lean tools. They begin applying those tools to their respective area by the afternoon. By the second day, the area has been fully assessed. On the third day, a more efficient process is designed. This process is implemented immediately, and continues to be refined through the fourth day. On the fifth and final day, the new process is finalized and the executive leadership team receives a briefing from the Kaizen team on the improvements that have been made.
