Kaizen Lead Training

Kaizen Lead Training is designed for those healthcare organizations wanting to internalize Kaizen events and use their own resources in the deployment of the Kaizen methods. Our workshop enables participants that have experienced Kaizen events to lead events and make the best decisions in the high pressure environment of the event. In order to be able to lead groups of 8-25 individuals during an event, Kaizen leads are trained with the technical depth that allows them to correctly use all resources at their disposal during the event.

The Kaizen Lead Training consists of 3 three-day training sessions. A sample of the topics the participants will be exposed to are:

Presentation skills for the Kaizen training material.

Technical content.
Delivery of material.

Understanding variation.

Common cause variation versus special cause variation.
Individual & Moving Range Charts (ImR).

Basic Analysis skills.

Process Mapping.
Value Stream Mapping.
FMEA.
Pareto Charts.
Probability distributions and their practical use in Kaizen events.

Queue models and their practical application.
Factory Physics.

Little’s law.
Processes performance with variation.

Work Management Models.

Total cost models.
Push and pull models.
Make to order, make to stock and assemble to order.
Chase versus level systems.
Task balancing using time sensitive versus non time sensitive tasks.
Networks and network management methods.

Practice Kaizen analysis and Kaizen decision making under time constraints.

In addition to the formal Kaizen training, your Kaizen Leads will co-lead 2-3 events of your choice with one of our Kaizen experts at their side. In this way, your Kaizen Leads will gain the practical experience required to produce results for your organization.
