Six Sigma Black Belt Training
Lean Six Sigma Black Belts are the centerpiece of the program integrating the strategies of Lean and Six Sigma. Lean Six Sigma Black Belts are improvement experts that are deployed to conduct the project work that delivers to your overall goals and objectives. Throughout their 4-5 week Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training, participants internalize the methods and tools of Lean and Six Sigma. Our Lean Six Sigma Black Belt program integrates both methodologies into one seamless platform. In each situation, your Lean Six Sigma practitioner will be able to use those tools best suited to drive the results you desire. The training itself is conducted over the course of 4-5 months. Participants apply the new knowledge from each session immediately between the training sessions. It is this mechanism that ensures progress is being made quickly, and that the learning of Lean Six Sigma Black Belt methods and tools takes place with real world goals in mind.
Projects for Lean Six Sigma Black Belts can vary in scope. However, the most typical Lean Six Sigma Black Belt projects are either larger scale intradepartmental projects, or small- to medium-scale interdepartmental projects. We have found that it is advantageous to team up several Lean Six Sigma Black Belts from different backgrounds and functional expertise to work larger scale projects together.
Just as in the Green Belt training, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training candidates apply their knowledge to the projects during the formal training weeks. Where possible, our training utilizes the actual project work to demonstrate tool usage, rather than pre-set, embedded examples. This real world healthcare-centered approach to training is one of the key advantages of our program. We ensure that progress is made from day one and allow your associates to ask relevant questions that apply to their environment. Our Kaizen Lead Training can also be integrated into your Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training, creating practitioners who are not only fully versed in Lean and Six Sigma, but also have gained the experience and skill base to lead Kaizen events.
