Six Sigma Systems, Inc., is offering a Six Sigma Expert class in
the greater Detroit area in the July through October time frame.
The workshop will consist of four (4) one-week sessions.
This program is designed to provide candidates with both a technical
and practical foundation for improving business processes utilizing
the Six Sigma methodology. The training program emphasizes:
- Understanding the Six Sigma methodology
by application to specific company projects.
- Achieving measurable business
results quickly.
- Mentoring to ensure development
of candidates.
- Helping participants gain confidence
and expertise through the achievement of results.
- Establishing the foundation of
a sustainable process improvement program.
Examples of the topics covered during the training program include:
- Process mapping.
- Building problem solving strategies.
- Business case development.
- Statistical process control (SPC).
- Capability Studies.
- Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
(FMEA).
- Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
- Design of experiments.
- Components of variation studies
(COV).
- Least squares (LS).
- Other statistical methods.
The workshop dates for the 4 session workshop are as follows:
July 30th - Aug. 3rd,
Aug. 20th - Aug. 24th, Sept. 17th - Sept.
21st, Oct. 15th - Oct. 19th.
