Green Belt training workshop.
Green
Belts are Six Sigma practitioners performing project work and
supporting Black Belts on larger projects. Green Belts are trained
during a five-day workshop that covers the fundamental Six Sigma
tools which are used on nearly all projects.This program is
designed to provide candidates with both a technical and practical
foundation for improving processes.
Upon completion of the training Green Belt candidates will:
- Understanding Six Sigma tools by application to specific
company projects.
- Achieving measurable business results quickly.
Some of the topics covered during the program include:
- Six Sigma Philosophy.
- Project Management.
- Critical Thinking Skills.
- Basic Data Acquisition Techniques.
- Basic Analysis Tools.
- Process Mapping.
- Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Measurement System Assessment.
- Statistical Process Control for Process Investigation.
- Introduction to Design of Experiments.
This training, similar to the Black Belt training, makes
extensive use of hands-on exercises, usually utilizing the projects
brought to class. Some projects will be advanced significantly
during the training week as teams will be applying the newly learned
techniques on the projects. Each candidate will leave the training
week with a concise action plan.
